A new but 'old' kitchen table!

I've had this kitchen table in situ for quite some time and I knew that I would need to 'do' something with it to make it look right.....
It began life as a basic, white table. it now has a 'Formica' top and suffered from abit of ageing!
The gentleman of the house has just had his dinner and lady wife is about to begin baking...

  1. This scene reminds me very much of my grandparents house. Nicely done.

  3. I've always loved your blue and white kitchen and your new table fits in perfectly. The speckly formica top is exactly right.

  6. Hi, I know this post is from a bit ago but I'm hoping you can help? How did you do the formica table top? I have one I want to make over and yours turned out great (found you on Google!). Thanks, Dawn (rattlingon@hotmail.co.uk)

  7. Hi Kath, I was just lurking around your thread on the DHE and have to say how lovely your houses look together! What surprises me though is how small your Mountfield looks compared with Lakeview and your Sid Cooke(?) house, yet Mountfield is still quite a sizeable house!
